I am using a new version of RPM. It looks like it acts in differently way<br>

If the directory of a file doesn't exist, it will fail the dependency<br>
instead of automatically creating the directory.<br>

installed, abc.rpm will fail the dependency check.<br>

Is there any option for rpm or rpmlib to force it automaticaly create the<br>

Specifying the exact version of rpm you use will make it much easier to find out where/what the problems ist.<br>
Try rpm --version if you do not know. The distribution you are using can also help.<br><font color="#888888">
