Hi, and sorry for taking so long to respond.

Does this fix a concrete bug you're encountering? In that case a brief description how the problem manifests and how to reproduce it would be appropriate in the spec. Otherwise I'm reluctant to touch this thingie, it's been "fixed" several times over the years already, and each time some other quirk comes up.
