An external link is never an acceptable commit message by itself, the rationale needs to be in the message itself. Looking at the bug though,

That's a NAK. We're not adding random 43e7jfh, 9fgf8d and f7283kj architecture aliases just because somebody somewhere thought that might be convenient for their own purposes.
