On a more general note, we don't usually include function names in the commit summary. When coming to a new project, when documentation is lacking, it's a good idea to skim around commit history to get a feel for the general style used. In general the commit summary should be a high-level description of the actual change and details like function names belong to the message where appropriate, but most of the time it's just pointless: you can see it well enough from the patch itself.
