<p><a href="https://github.com/n3npq" class="user-mention">@n3npq</a> Regarding full-system durability - I'm the maintainer of <a href="https://github.com/projectatomic/rpm-ostree/">https://github.com/projectatomic/rpm-ostree/</a> which uses <a href="https://github.com/ostreedev/ostree/">https://github.com/ostreedev/ostree/</a> to implement full-system transactional updates.  Every change (package install, update) is atomic.  libostree currently <a href="https://mail.gnome.org/archives/ostree-list/2017-January/msg00000.html">stages objects per boot ID, then uses syncfs()</a>.</p>
