 There is an yum developers and users mailing list, not everyone on the
rpm list cares about yum related things. Anyway (assuming I've parsed
the question correctly)...

 No, the yum comps/groups xml file provides a mapping between a group
id/name and a list of package names only. You can't specify package
versions with it.
