[Rpm-maint] Problems building rpms in python

I didn't want to subscribe to the list, but I want maintainers to know
about this.

I have made several attempts in recent months to build rpms from python
packages using

python setup.py bdist_rpm

They usually wind up failing, and I understand it is because of something
rpm is doing.  The build almost always winds up with some files listed
twice and some "Installed (but unpackaged) files".  The latter appear to
be pyo files that might not be necessary to include in the package.

I hope this can be fixed soon.
