This to me is a bit like arguing that distros should remove 'ls'
because you can get directory contents via 'echo *'.  Two people have
already indicated usage of the feature, and one person (whose
knowledge of the rpm codebase is likely not surpassed by many) has
expressed interest in keeping it by splitting it into a separate
library.  I doubt any of that matters though, as my email address
lacks a redhat.com or fedoraproject.org domain.  So my request to this
list is that you pick a different version number for your "upgrade."
I have no desire to lose functionality I rely on with my RHEL systems
with a minor rev update.
