[Rpm-maint] How to prevent rpmbuild from including dependencies on non-rpm libraries

I'm sure I could, but this isn't the only 3rd party library we use, and
maintaining a spec file for another group's libraries gets annoying.  It
would be easier to be able to tell rpmbuild to ignore specific
dependencies in my spec file.  I gather there is not any mechanism to do
that currently.  


So, in order to package a library as an RPM, all its dependencies have
to also be RPM packaged?
