[Rpm-maint] RPM Dependency Query

Have a query in retrieving the Dependency information of RPM programmatically. Got the option of getting it using "rpm -qpr rpmfile". But need to get it on some machine where RPM are not installed. Is there any other shell script command through which I can get the info from the header of the RPM file.
