well ldconfig -N is not needed, agreed. and i'd really like our
packages to use "ldconfig -X", but we've not moved that way yet.
as for the cache, it is needed if you use /etc/ld.so.conf.d/xxx.conf,
which alas is the case for mandriva's qt4. It seems fedora also uses
the ld cache to handle its qt3? I really would like to get rid of this
and that things work correctly without the ld cache... But currently
for a few things we rely on ldconfig cache :-/ Hence the proposed
patch
