[Rpm-maint] librpm and arch

Dear all,

I'm using rpm 4.2.2.2
I compile rpm library and I'm going to use it. I would like to know
how one can specify (at configure time/at run time) which architecture
is possible to install. I'm trying with "standard" i386 packages and
everything is ok but when I'm trying with "special" architecture (say
montavista x86_586 packages) I receive a message like "package
mypackage-1.0.0-1 is intended for a x86_586 architecture".
