[Rpm-maint] install rpm that replaces system files

Hi

i have written an spec that replaces some of the system files, 
/etc/aliases, /etc/exports etc, that are specific to our environment. Is 
there a way to install this without --force as of course this package 
'conflicts' with some of the base packages as it replaces 'their' files ?
