[Rpm-maint] Automatic Provides and Requires for python modules

Hi maintainers,

I've submitted a couple of weeks ago to rpm's Trac an enhancement proposal
for the pythondeps.sh script. The idea is to do for python modules what the
perl.{prov,req} scripts do for perl modules : virtal provides/requires such
as:
 * Provides: python(SQLAlchemy)
 * Requires: python(setuptools)

You'll get all the details in ticket 154: http://rpm.org/ticket/154

The change is not too complicated, and was already discussed on the Fedora
lists, so since I had no answer I was wondering if I could do anything to
help review, and in general move the contrib forward. For example I can
provide a Git patch if you prefer.

I do understand you have others probably more pressing matters to attend to,
so if I can't do anything to help and must wait for someone's availability,
just tell me so. I only don't want to have missed some step in the
established workflow and be waiting on my own behalf...

Thanks for your time

Aurélien
