Ok. Of course it's already possible for vendors to disable and enable
these checks as they please by (re)defining %__os_install_post to include
what they want. That works decently for the vendor level, but is clumsy
for packagers when you come across the inevitable situation where one of
the checks comes up with a false positive or the brp-* scripts break
something and you'd like to disable that one bit.
So if you have cool new check- / brp- scripts up your sleeve, there's no
problem including them right now. Whether any new scripts should be
enabled in the default configuration of upstream rpm is a case-by-case
decision, and in any case vendors can pick and choose what they please.
A better infrastructure for switching these on and off would be a nice
extra bonus :)
