My open questions and issues are mostly related to the "collections" 
feature (which is largely implemented using the plugin system), more than 
the plugin system itself.

More precisely it's about where and how the collections are stored etc - 
I'd like to move the whole thing to be package owned instead of being 
central to rpm. These threads have a fair bit of head-scratching around
