The e-mail address provided in the book "Maximum RPM" is dead and should be marked as such.

Red Hat maintains a mailing list specifically for RPM. In order to subscribe to the list, it's necessary to send a mail message to:
rpm-list-request at redhat.com

I attach the bounce as evidence.
Moreover, I am unable to report this issue using the normal procedure [2] because the site‘s certificate is invalid.
E = skvidal at gmail.com, CN = *.baseurl.org (the domain does not match)
The certificate is not verified by any CA.
Please look at StartSSL.com for a valid and free certificate you could use. Also note that *.osuosl.org has a valid commercial certificate provided by GoDaddy; if the RPM Trac instance were available at rpm.osuosl.org for example, the problem would go away.
Please fix,
Chris
