[Rpm-maint] [rpm-software-management/rpm] RPM -V lacks a wildcard (#451)

Now that we have split up packages into smaller packages, rpm -V has become misleading.
Sure, you can feed in packages using shell-fu, however rpm -V kernel, in Fedora 28 shows nothing, implying everything is fine.
Problem is kernel is a place holder package, which pulls in other deps. So the logical solution would be, that rpm -V checks for place holders and follows those or wildcard support is added.
Be nice if this was added. Thank you all for your hard work.
