Took me a while to figure out what you're really asking for here.

I think the more generic issue is (semi-)automatic, strong dependencies between sub-packages, to avoid those ubiquitous and tedious ```Requires: %{name} = %{version}-%{release}``` manual dependencies between sub-packages.
