Currently, the [brp-compress](https://github.com/rpm-software-management/rpm/blob/f993a6067b12f030dcdcf33855fd85dada7a3291/scripts/brp-compress#L16) file hard codes all the man page directories it goes through. Having a macro that we could conveniently use would be much appreciated.
We want to use the same list of directories in the pyproject macros in Fedora. The upstreams provide all sorts of man pages which are compressed by the `brp-compress` script. As a result the file extensions change and we're unable to detect the upstream declared files anymore. During the package files processing we want to go through the same directories as `brp-compress` and change the filenames to the format that will be [correctly recognized](https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/#_manpages).
