[Rpm-maint] [rpm-software-management/rpm] [RFE] Allow RPM to read chained databases (Issue #1885)

We will of course reconsider our stance on this. But this requires more than "We want multiple databases" but a proper use case definition with the supported operations and a plan on how to implement them. Actually an implementation using an single RPM DB assembled from multiple sources would be a good argument. It would also show that all other issues are already solved and there are no other road blocks.
