The script could show internal macros though, the `%dump` macro prints them out prefixed with a `-20` at least if I understand the following code correctly: https://github.com/rpm-software-management/rpm/blob/8763969a4a5f19231c0d851e5d50eff614cf5940/rpmio/rpmmacro.h#L38 

So we could leverage the same functionality further for sure.
