Note that the first piece (creating a topic branch) is already upstream, commit 3a6b1d8fbf846d3f1b139d343fdfddebe99ae42b. However, I'm curious about the use case that it's supposed to solve, can you please elaborate? What's the intended workflow like for such a repo?
