Just FWIW, stuff like `skipped_extensions[extension_index].extension` is on the verbose side, especially for a strictly local thing like this. There are few hard rules when it comes to style and naming, but just so you don't end up thinking that's how stuff needs to be named to be acceptable to rpm.
