Thanks for reporting this.  I created a smaller reproducer and  [opened an issue against rustc](https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/95406).

I was using 1.56.1 from [`rustup`](https://www.rust-lang.org/tools/install).  If you are willing to install `rustup` on your system, that might be a way forward until this issue is resolved.
