Apologies for the cursing and all, but I'm really tired of this discussion going nowhere. I think we've agreed on the root cause here, and no further discussion is required.

As for the patch itself, as I said already, we should rather use `WORKING_DIRECTORY` and while at it, also look at our other uses of `execute_process()` to see if those should be fixed too.
