[Rpm-maint] [rpm-software-management/rpm] RPM 4.20.0 RC1 released! (Discussion #3265)

It's been a busy summer but here we are, reaching the release candidate stage for 4.20!  Thanks to everyone involved in working on the outstanding bits and regressions, and to those reporting them in the first place.  This is shaping up to be a polished, feature-rich release (*knocks on wood*).

This snapshot is about the finishing touches for the major features and various other fixes, mostly regarding the declarative buildsystem, `--build-in-place` compatibility with the new build directory layout, debuginfo generation and error reporting.
