Note that the diff above is no longer valid, as the spec has been converted to build with meson, so it won't apply cleanly (or even uncleanly).

(No idea why I had to rename the file `.patch.txt`, but the filename generated by `git format-patch` wasn't being accepted despite ending in `.patch` and that being explicitly one of the formats they support.)
