Nod, I've pondered about the ordering too. EXPANSION should probably be right after DESCRIPTION, because paramteric macros are already an advanced concept and you need to know and understand expansion before proceeding there.
It's just that it drags Lua up to the top too. Perhaps we should just leave the details of the Lua stuff out of the macro manual and just refer to rpm-lua(7) for the details - we'll need the Lua man page too anyway. This would be closer to how the docs are split in the current web version too.
