This is going to be in 6.0.0 beta (that's what `master` tracks currently). We'll consider the backport you've provided (thanks!) for 4.20.x and 4.19.x as well (when the time comes for the next release in each), although 4.16.x is no longer supported upstream. It is supported in RHEL-9, though, so if you'd like it there, please [file a ticket](https://issues.redhat.com) and we'll go from there.
