Could you elaborate on that further? E.g. Fedora has been able to schedule system upgrades, so they run in an isolated mode and however files are updated on the disk this process has no chance of affecting the running system.

I have no permission to reopen the issue. Looks like this bug tracker is only for RedHat employees. You don't need CONTRIBUTING.md
