Yep, that (rpm-macros) was my rationale for calling it plural. I'm fine with a singular name, too, but at that point, I'm also questioning the name itself, as it's uncomfortably long and unwieldy (to type and refer to from other man pages in the future).

We've pondered about the name a bit previously, so here's the ideas that have circulated so far:

- rpm-depgen(7)
- rpm-autodeps(7)
- rpm-generator(7)
- rpm-fileattr(7)

The last one is neat but not a great fit long-term since we possibly will have a separate rpm-fileattr(7) man page (for only the file attribute bits) in the future. That said, we could always split it then.

There's also the argument of "dependency generator being an established, well-known term that people go look for", which is why we initially went with this long name :smile:
