Argh, so moving the sanitizers to a separate hidden preset would also require moving the `CFLAGS` and `CXXFLAGS` there, at which point the `debug` preset becomes quite pointless...

There's just so many different use cases to cover with these presets. It apparently requires more thought... So for now, let's just go with the simplest possible patch to enable the clang builds, and leave the rest for later (if ever), that is, define just the toolchain presets. I'll make a separate PR for that, and will probably close this one.
