Oh indeed, the default should actually be mentioned, though. I removed it accidentally when moving around the text, oops :+1: 

Tangentially, I initially also thought of mentioning the  `@__SYSTEMD_SYSUSERS@` cmake macro which should preferably be used when building RPM for a systemd distro. But, that's where things get really muddy, since the vendors should place all vendor-specific config to the appropriate `/usr/lib/rpm/...` directories instead (as also documented in the rpm-config manual)  :sweat_smile: So that part I left out...
