Hey folks, just a gentle nudge here. Are there any changes or additional tests people want before this is acceptable?

This patch is something I'm going to need to enable a lot of signing-related features in Fedora (v6 signatures, PQC, etc), and while I don't anticipate that work will be in production terribly soon, I'd like to ensure it is sorted out upstream well ahead of that.
